Adjust Loyalty Points window

Purpose
Use this window to make any adjustments to a customer's loyalty point balance.
To access this window
Complete one of the following to access this window.
- On the Modules menu, point to Customer, then to Loyalty Points, and then click Adjust Points.
- Use the keyboard shortcut Alt, M, C, Y, A.

Item descriptions
Item | Description |

Acct |
Displays the customer/account name you for which you want to adjust loyalty points. Click to view the account name, address, and other demographic information. Right-click in this box to copy the mailing address to the clipboard. |
Loc | Displays the location with which the customer is associated. Select a different location if desired. |
Ref# |
Displays the automatically generated invoice (reference) number (according to the system variable NextInvoice). This number may be changed, but must not duplicate any other invoice number. Note: Tri-Tech does not recommend changing this number. |
Date |
Enter the date of the points adjustment. By default, this is the current date. To quickly enter today's date, press T on your keyboard. To quickly back-date or forward-date by one day, use the Hyphen key (-) and Equal key (=) on your keyboard (alternatively, use the Minus Sign and Plus Sign keys on your keyboard number pad). To quickly back-date or forward-date by one month, use the Page Up and Page Down keys on your keyboard. This box supports F6 functionality; the Choose Date window opens. |
Amount | Enter the dollar amount to adjust the points by if points are automatically calculated based on dollars spent. For example, if you've set up loyalty points for the customer type to automatically calculate points at 1% of the total dollars spent, you can enter a dollars spent amount here and the points are automatically calculated in the Points Adjustment box. |
Current Points | Displays the current number loyalty points available for this account. |
Points Adjustment |
Enter the amount to adjust the current points balance. You may increase the balance or decrease it by preceding the number by a - symbol (for example, -10.00). This box is required unless Loyalty Rate box on the Customer Defaults window is completed for the associated customer type. |
Notes |
Enter any notes about the adjustment. Press F4 on your keyboard to automatically add the date, time, and your user name to the note. This box supports F6 functionality; the Select Comment window opens. |

Save |
Saves your points adjustment and opens the Select Output Destination window where you can view, print save, or email a copy of the loyalty point adjustment invoice. This button only displays if you've changed the details of at least one box on this window. |
Cancel |
Cancels any changes you've made to any box(es) on this window. This button only displays if you've changed the details of at least one box on this window. |
Exit | Closes the window. |
